Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Which bank statements are currently supported for conversion?
Currently, our tool supports automated conversion for system-generated PDF statements from SBI (State Bank of India), HDFC Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank. We are actively working to expand this list based on user demand.
2. My bank statement is a scanned copy or an image. Can I upload it?
At this time, only system-generated (digital/text-based) PDF statements are supported. We are currently developing OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities. Once enabled, you will be able to upload scanned copies and images for conversion as well.
3. What file formats can I upload, and what will I receive?
You can upload PDF files of your bank statements. After processing, the tool will generate a well-formatted Excel sheet (.xlsx) containing your transaction data for easier analysis and reporting.
4. How accurate is the data extraction from the PDFs?
Our automation engine is designed specifically for the native PDF formats of the supported banks to ensure high accuracy. However, we always recommend reviewing the output file to ensure it meets your requirements before using it for critical purposes.
5. Are there any file size or page limit restrictions for the upload?
To ensure optimal performance, we support bank statements of standard sizes. If your statement is exceptionally large (e.g., several years worth of data), the processing time may increase slightly. The tool will notify you if a file exceeds the supported page limit.
6. Is my financial data secure during the conversion process?
Absolutely. Data security is our priority. Files are processed in a secure environment and are automatically purged from our servers immediately after the conversion is complete to protect your privacy.
